We have a very busy schedule coming up. 9 in a row on the actual schedule. I took Kingsmill off. It was nice to get the extra week at home. We then drove our car and the doggies up to Canada. I finally got to see my newest nephew Jackson. What a cutie and such a quiet little guy. It was nice to spend a couple of days at home before heading to Ann Arbor to start my 8 weeks in a row of tournaments.

I was a little rusty after the 2 weeks off and didn’t play the way that I wanted to in Ann Arbor. There were lots of positives to take away from the event.

We are now in Atlantic City for the Shoprite Classic. I’m looking forward to playing this week. I have been working hard on my mental game and I spent the last couple of days cleaning up little things in my swing and putting. It should be a great week. The course is playing a little differently this year than in years past. Its pretty wet which plays into my game as the course is playing the longest it has played in quite a few years.

My mental coach and I have come up with a plan or check list to get thru these 8 weeks and not experience burn out. The main goal is to enjoy these 8 tournaments and have fun every week at every event. I thought it was a great idea as it is almost a check list to go thru each week. The check list has little things on it that will keep me in check and remind me to enjoy the process of the next two months.

I am trying to constantly remind myself how lucky I am to be playing golf for a living. It has been an amazing experience and continues to be.
