It feels like time is flying by this season! It is already the middle of June and I have only competed in 8 LPGA events. Im really looking forward to getting back to southern Ontario this coming week to play in the Manulife LPGA Classic. It is a new event on our schedule and it is very exciting that it is only about 40 minutes from where I grew up in Hamilton! It will be nice to play in front of family and friends and all the LPGA golf fans from the southern Ontario area! I read that it wasn’t too difficult to get volunteers for this event which is amazing!

I feel like I am starting to gain some momentum as I have made the cut in the last two events that I played in – Shoprite Classic and the LPGA Championship. I am not completely satisfied saying its momentum making cuts but it is a step in the right direction. My putting and short game are saving me right now. I have spent the last week in Florida sweating it out on the range while working on my swing. Its coming along nicely and I am definitely ready to have some better ball striking tournaments. Might as well start it off in Waterloo in front of the home crowd.
