This past week I played in the Grasshopper Tour at Lone Tree. We were out sweeping the dew every morning but I was happy because it was only 3 miles from my house.

I have been working hard on my mental game and it is starting to show on the golf course. I opened the tournament with a 66. I was 4 under after nine and was thinking wow how low can I go! A little futuristic but I was having fun on the course. I followed up the 66 with a 68 and was in the lead by 6 heading into the last round. I attribute my low scores to making putts. I was rolling putts in from everywhere, it was very nice to see the ball dropping in the cup. I ended up shooting 73 on the last day and won by 4.

The LPGA season opener for me is just around the corner when we play the RR Donnelley Founders Cup at Wildfire GC in Phoenix. I’m looking forward to the next couple of weeks. I have a lot going on! My birthday is coming up on the 7th, my parents are coming into town, the LPGA domestic schedule is starting up and the playoffs are coming up for my hockey league. Phew busy month!!

Come out and watch the LPGA in Phoenix!!!
